Rockstar Martial Arts opened its doors in Frisco in 2014 with one mission: to build champions on and off the mats. What started as a bold idea became a fast-growing community of families, kids, and adults who were looking for more than just a workout — they wanted confidence, discipline, friendship, and a place where training actually feels fun.

Today, with world-class coaching under Professor Lucas Lisboa Alves, our North Frisco academy continues to raise the standard for martial arts in the community — mixing elite-level training with a fun, family-first atmosphere that keeps students excited to walk through the door.

Head Coach Chancen Bateman
Coach Chancen brings an exceptional combination of technical expertise, competitive experience, and a genuine passion for helping students grow both on and off the mats. He is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Professor Sergio Rios of Rasai Jiu-Jitsu in San Diego, California, and has earned multiple IBJJF Open championships at the black belt level. More importantly, he embodies the values that define Rockstar—integrity, respect, leadership, and a commitment to creating a positive environment where every student can thrive.
