About our Prosper Location

Rockstar Martial Arts Prosper is the second location opened by founders James and Shiva Boecker, proudly continuing their mission to build confidence, discipline, and strength through world-class martial arts training. Established in 2018, the Prosper academy quickly became a cornerstone of the community, known for its fun, family-focused atmosphere and exceptional instruction.

Fun fact: Before opening the studio, classes were actually held on the grassy fields of the Windsong Ranch community! What started as a few students training outdoors grew rapidly thanks to the dedication of our families and instructors. As our student base expanded, we made the exciting move into our permanent home in the Windsong Ranch Marketplace shopping center, where we continue to serve Prosper and surrounding areas with pride.

Professor Pedro Mello & Coach Gabby Mello

Professor Pedro, a child development expert, is an elite Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with an impressive background. He’s a multi-time international and national champion, a sought-after coach, and a world-class competitor known for both his technical mastery and mentorship. His passion for the art is inspiring, and we are beyond lucky to have him leading our school.

Coach Gabby, a jiu jitsu brown belt, brings tremendous heart, energy, and support to our RockStar family as well. Together, they create a powerful and welcoming environment for students of all ages and experiences.
